Francesco Formignani is a AIGUPP-certified fishing guide based in Northern Italy. His passion for fishing began at a young age, spending time on local lakes and mountain streams with his father. Over the years, fly fishing became his greatest passion and area of expertise, leading him to explore many of the rivers and valleys of Piedmont and the Aosta Valley. Today, Francesco guides anglers through some of Northern Italy's most beautiful pre-alpine and alpine waters. His approach combines technical fishing knowledge with a deep appreciation for nature, conservation, and local traditions. Whether you are taking your first steps into fly fishing or are an experienced angler looking for new challenges, Francesco aims to create an authentic and memorable experience on the water.
